World's Tallest, Longest & Fastest Rollercoaster to Launch in Saudi Arabia
Falcon’s Fight, the world’s fastest rollercoaster is set to launch at a theme park in Saudi Arabia. This is going to be a record-breaking rollercoaster of all time. It is going to be hosted by the upcoming Six Flags Qiddiya amusement park in the country’s capital, Riyadh, scheduled to open in 2024.
The Falcon’s Flight promises to reach a maximum speed of 251 kmph with a vertical drop over the side of a desert cliff. The info comes to light through a presentation at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo.

- The Fastest Rollercoaster in the World with a speed of 251 kmph
- The Longest Roller Coster in the World spread over 4.25 km.
Intamin, the Global rollercoaster specialist, designer, and manufacturer revealed the latest feature plan in Orlando, Florida at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Expo.
The CEO of Six Flags Qiddiya, Philippe Gas said, “Rollercoaster fans around the world have been eagerly anticipating this ride since it was announced as there is nothing quite like it anywhere else. Now we are in the design stage with the experts at Intamin and the engineering team at Six Flags, the excitement is building. Falcon’s Flight will dominate the skyline at Qiddiya weave all the way around our destination, right out of the theme park, up the cliffside, and down the cliff face – the greatest drop of any ride in the world. It won’t be for the fainthearted.”
Six Flags Qiddiya is a megaproject of a lifestyle in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Megaproject includes plans for theme parks, different motorsport race tracks, sports arenas, and much more. The development of Qiddiya is an important part of the strategy of Vision 2030 in Saudi Arabia for diversifying the economic structure of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Falcon’s Flight:
Falcon’s Flight, the very first “Exa Coaster” in the world, is the first rollercoaster that plans to go above 500ft in height including an enormous 640ft drop.
The current rollercoaster to hold the record of the highest rollercoaster in the world is the Kingda Ka, located at a height of 456ft at the Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey.
The attraction in Saudi Arabia will be even taller than the very popular London Eye, which is located at a height of 442ft.
The giant rollercoaster even promises to be the longest rollercoaster ever, with a record distance of 2.64 miles in length.
It will cover a distance of a track of more than 13,000 feet, which will be almost longer than a mile compared to the present world record holder, at Japan’s Nagashima Spa Land, the Steel Dragon 2000.
Falcon’s Flight, running over a Formula 1 race track also beat the current record holder in terms of speed. At the current time, Formula Rossa at the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is the record-holding rollercoaster which is also the the fastest rollercoaster in the world, with a maximum speed of around 240 kmph requiring all the riders to wear safety goggles during the ride.
The rollercoaster, Falcon’s Flight will have a seating capacity of 14 people. The very front car will take two riders and four in each of the three cars remaining. Each row will be facilitated by providing its windshield, which will let the riders enjoy the ride without the need to wear any goggles.
