The Bear Grylls Survival Academy is set to expand the global outdoor adventure brand in Saudi Arabia. Amaala and The Red Sea Global announced to play the role of exclusive agent for Bear Grylls Survival Academy. The brand also has a long-term plan to launch many more branches across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The brand which is already available in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE offers various courses related to adventurous education and different survival skills. They also teach how to build more team-building opportunities. All the available courses are specially designed by Bear Grylls. Bear Grylls is the name of a former SAS soldier who became a television host later and was globally known for his adventurous survival shows. Alongside, he is one of the best-selling authors, honorary colonel of the Royal Marine Commandos, and winner of the BAFTA (The British Academy Film Awards).

In many of the shows, he starred many famous personalities, including the honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, and President Barak Obama.

Renowned Tamil actor Rajnikanth, and Bollywood actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranveer Singh, have also been a part of this show in different seasons.

Famous actors like Kate Hudson, and Zac Efron also appeared in Bear Grylls adventure shows.

Red Sea Global, one of the agent companies ensured and said that all the activities are fully inclusive, and also be accessible to guests who have some disabilities.

Paul Gardiner, the managing director of the Bear Grylls Survival Academy said, “From its steep mountains to its deep wadi valleys, across sand dunes, canyons and coastlines, The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia has some of the most diverse natural environments we’ve ever seen.”

The developers are expecting this partnership to bring hundreds of job opportunities in Saudi Arabia in this unique industry, as the aim is to recruit and train local adventure enthusiasts with more survival skills, and voyage leadership.

The world’s first Bear Grylls Explorers Camp was launched in Ras Al Khaimah back in 2020 for visitors from each age group, and with disabilities. The motto was to teach everyone about some major top techniques and tips of British adventure through the selective courses set at the Jebel Jais peak.

In 2021, this has expanded and brought branded accommodation facilities for overnight stays including 20 repurposed and recycled storage containers.

Located on the western coast of Saudi Arabia, The Red Sea development is the new tourism mega-project by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman in the year 2017. This project is one of the most ambitious tourism projects, structured over 28,000 square kilometers of land area, an island chain of more than 90 islands, ensuring turquoise coastlines, diverse marine life experience, and various deluxe accommodation availability. 

This project is also on track to open the Red Sea International Airport by this year. This will welcome their leisure passengers on domestic aircraft from Riyadh and Jeddah. The first hotel launch will begin in December with  Six Senses Southern Dunes by The Red Sea.

The project is aimed to be completed by 2030, featuring 50 resorts and 8,000 hotel rooms spread over, six inland sites and 22 different islands.
