The youth policy of the country is quite powerful, as the youngsters of the country have voted the UAE as their first choice to live in for straight 12 years, as per the annual report shared by Asda’a BCW Arab Youth Survey.
The former youth minister of the country was Shamma Al Mazrui, who secured her position in 2016, at the age of 22 only. She was the world’s youngest minister to serve the country, and currently serving as a Minister of Community Development, also being appointed as the Youth Climate Champion of Cop28 this year.
Through her LinkedIn profile, Shamma Al Mazrui described the role of a young minister as empowering and a great opportunity to give structure to the future of the country across society and the government. It will also ensure looking after the requirements and issues faced by the young generation, listening to their perspective, and combining them into policies divided by the government.
