The United Arab Emirates again took a remarkable step by making the visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina visa-free. These European countries are now accessible without any visa for short-term visits. Citizens from both sides can travel seamlessly without any visa-related disruptions.

The United Arab Emirates made the official announcement of visa-free visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina for travel, business, or any other short-term visits. The exempted travel freedom is expected to enhance the more cultural understanding, promote economic growth, and strengthen the tourism system between the United Arab Emirates and Europe.

UAE- Bosnia and Herzegovina Agreement of Visa Exemption

Collaboratively the United Arab Emirates, along with Bosnia, and Herzegovina have taken a remarkable step while reinforcing their bilateral relationship by signing the Memorandum of Understanding on the exemption of visas. Signed between the two nations, the Memorandum of Agreement was signed and formalized on November 6, 2023, and it aims to promote and facilitate trade, travel, and person-to-person exchanges between both countries. 

The signed MoU says, that citizens from the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia, and Herzegovina who have valid passports are now permitted to travel visa-free for business, tourism, and Short-term visits.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy and  Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mirela Bubalo, Counsellor for the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Zlatan Burzić, the Director of the Bosnian Minister of Foreign Affairs office both were available during the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding. A strong understanding was expressed and highlighted between both sides during the signing of the MoU in terms of fortifying the bilateral relationship in-between them.

The exemption of Visa will make a striking development in the tourism industry, as well as boost the connectivity between the two nations. Additionally, the whole process will exchange a deeper cultural impression and economic collaborations.
