UAE Announced a Hike in Petrol & Diesel Prices for July 2023
The residence will witness a rise in fuel prices up to Dhs 3, as the petrol and diesel prices will go up in July 2023
The UAE fuel price committee announced the monthly fuel price rate for the upcoming month of July 2023 through the Emirate’s official tweeter account. The new price is going to be applied from July 1, 2023 onwards.
The price rate is going to be implemented by next month as follows:
- Super 98: There will be an increase of 1.69% in the price of Super 98 per litre compared to June. It will now cost ADE 3.00 per litre from ADE 2.95.
- Special 95: Special 95 is now going to cost ADE 2.89 from ADE 2.84. The price has increased by 1.76% compared to June.
- E plus 91: E plus 91 new price per litre is ADE 2.81 from ADE 2.76, which increased by 1.81% compared to June.
- Diesel: The hiked price of Diesel will be ADE 2.76 from ADE 2.68, and it increased by 2.98% compared to the June Diesel price.
UAE has faced a continuous infatuation in the price graph throughout the year due to energy imbalance dynamics which ended up affecting the pump prices. The UAE Fuel Committee arranges a monthly meeting to discuss the monthly fuel increase or decrease rate.
The fuel prices during the start of the year have seen a drop in the graph compared to the last few months in 2022. The prices started rising again in March, and again there was a price rise in the month of May. Repetitively, again after a one-month break, the price was increased again in July.
UAE implemented a freeze on fuel prices in 2020. However, the restriction was lifted again after the global pandemic situation in 2021 due to an increase in oil prices globally.
The cost of fueling up the full tank of the vehicle will cost you between ADE2.55 to ADE3.70 depending on the type of vehicle you own. This is compared to the last month.
To fill the full tank of any compact car with an average fuel tank of 51 Litres will cost, ADE 153 with super 98 petrol, which was costing ADE 150.45 in June. The Special 95 petrol will cost ADE 147.39 when it was costing ADE 144.84 in June. E-plus 91 petrol price rose to ADE 143.31, during June it was ADE 140.76.
Any Sedan car with an average tank capacity of 62 Litres is going to cost a full tank, ADH 186 with Super 98, ADE179.18 for Special 95, and ADE174.22 for E-plus 91, which was ADE182.9, ADE176.08, and ADE171.12 respectively.
Similarly, any SUV, with an average fuel tank of 72 Litres will cost ADE222 for Super 98, ADE213.86 for Special 95, and ADE207.94 for E-Plus 91, which was previously costing ADE218.3, ADE210.16, and ADE204.24 respectively.
