Visa Requirement for the Residents of UAE for Oman Trip

Residents of UAE can get their visa on arrival once they reach the UAE-Oman land borders. There are two bus stops where the bus halts in UAE, Al Ain, and Abu Dhabi City.

  • Abu Dhabi Central Bus Station: Located at the Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street in Al Wahdah, Zone 1.
  • Al Ain Central Bus Station: Located at Al Wifadah Street in the Central District.

Buses from Dubai to Muscat

Ticket Cost: Starting from DH100 for a one-way trip.

It is also possible to take a bus from Dubai which will take you to Muscat, the capital of Oman. There are buses that provide private coach services. The price of the bus tickets may differ based on the travel company you booked your ticket with. The approximate travel time to reach Muscat from Dubai is seven hours. To Musandam

Musamdam is an administrative division or a governate of Oman and Khasab is the capital. The major attraction of this place is Khor Sham, which is a fjord that is 16 km long. Starting from October 6, 2023, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority started operating bus trips on a weekly basis from Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam, Oman.

The bus services only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The one-way trip takes two and a half hours to three to complete.

To book the ticket, you can visit rakbus.ae or install the mobile application of RAKBus which can be accessed on an Android or iOS device. Additionally, there is an option to buy the ticket frombus, as well as the central bus station at Ras Al Khaimah.

To Salalah

One of the most popular destinations in Oman, Salalah is popularly known for its seasonal waterfalls, sub-tropical climate, and great valleys. Due to its cooling weather, and natural attractions, many travel agencies based in the UAE offer packaged tours to Salalah. The one-way trip by bus from UAE to Salalah can take up to 18 hours.
