After 15 Long Years, The Dubai Mall Changes Its Name
The Dubai Mall by Emaar has announced on TikTok that it is rebranding by changing its name.
The shopping area will now be known as Dubai Mall, as per the video footage. Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things is seen approaching the camera while carrying the old name of the shopping centre above his head in the brief video titled “Introducing our new name.”Then, after clicking his fingers, “the” is deleted, leaving “Dubai Mall” to stand alone.
“New name but still your favourite mall,” it reads. Over 300,000 people watched this video after it was posted on 22nd January. The mall has updated its social media handles with the new name after the announcement, but the website has not yet been modified.
