About Procural & Its Latest Seed Funding

Uzair Usman founded Procural in 2022 to provide an enterprise-focused procurement platform that connects providers directly to buyers. 

The platform assists in digitising and managing the whole procurement process from request to fulfilment, giving a data-driven approach to improving firms’ procurement processes while expanding their sourcing outreach. 

Procural acts as a safe and scalable platform that allows the organisation to have an acceptable degree of internal control by strengthening all governance and risk-related processes in procurement.

Procural, a Bahraini startup recently raised $1.2 million in seed funding. The funding round was led by 500 Startups including, Flagship Holding and Canada-based BenchMatrix.

CEO and co-founder of Procural, Uzair Usman, hailed the investment as a crucial step forward for the company.

The cash will be used by the firm to strengthen the platform’s capabilities, accelerate its growth, and expand its personnel.

With the new funding, Procural plans to expand its team, improve its platform’s capabilities, and accelerate its growth in the B2B procurement market. Flagship Holding says it will leverage its expertise to help Procural gain a strategic position in the market. BenchMatrix will bring its development prowess to bear and accelerate Procural’s in-house development cycle. “This investment is a testament to our vision and hard work, and we’re thrilled to partner with Flagship Holding and BenchMatrix to bring Procural to the forefront of the procurement industry,” concluded Uzair Usman.
