Apple has finally announced the next-gen 15 series globally on September 12 (Tuesday) at Apple’s ‘Wonderlust’ launch event. The 15 series include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both the standard and Plus variants have a few hardware upgrades over their predecessors including the company’s A16 Bionic chipset, Dynamic Island, and a 48MP primary camera. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max are equipped with the A17 Pro chipset.

However, all iPhone models of this year have a USB Type-C port. When comes to buying an iPhone in Dubai, one can get it at a cheaper price compared to the other countries due to the UAE’s tax laws, lack of price controls, and favorable currency exchange rate. Let’s take a look at the pricing and availability details of iPhone 15 series models in UAE.

iPhone 14 Price in UAE: Will Price Drop after iPhone 15 Launch?

After the launch of the new series, the price of the older models usually goes down and many buyers still prefer buying previous-gen series as well. Mustafa (a retailer) says “Our customers are still showing a lot of interest in the earlier iPhone models, such as the iPhone 12, 13, and 14, despite the excitement around the iPhone 15.”

“We see consistent sales and strong resale prices for older models throughout the year. Many consumers are opting to purchase these devices as an affordable alternative to the latest iPhone, especially with the limited supply of the iPhone 15 after its launch,” he further added.

Shorab Hussain Chowdhury, a salesperson at Al Husan Mobiles in Sharjah, said that the prices of older iPhone models are still going strong. He said, “We have not seen a price drop for these models as of now, and we expect this trend to continue for the next few weeks.” The current price for the new iPhone 13 is Dh2,500, which was launched at Dh3,399, and the iPhone 14 is selling for Dh2,800, launched at Dh3,289, said retailers.
