Most of the residents in the United Arab Emirates have been eagerly waiting for this since the winter season started in the nation. And finally, the temperature in the United Arab Emirates has dropped down to single digits. Residents living in various areas in the UAE have started getting a feel of a chilled climate over the past few days. The residents are now waking up to a cooling temperature with single digit. The report of recorded temperature has been shared by the National Centre of Meteorology.

On Wednesday, January 10, was officially recorded as the coldest day of the winter season of this year. The scale of temperature on this day has seen a dropping to 5.3°C in Raknah, in Al Ain at 7:30 in the morning. Recorded by the National Centre of Meteorology, this temperature was marked as the lowest temperature so far in the curry year. However, the temperature in this area was recorded at 5.8°C on Thursday, January 11.

The residents in Raknah have seen the most cooling temperatures throughout the winter season of this year compared to many other locations in the United Arab Emirates. Although, on January 1, Tuesday  Jebel Jais Mountain, and the other nearby areas recorded a mercury drop to  7.2°C. Since the new year started, the mercury level dipped down to 10ºC across the country. Many of the mountainous areas are likely to witness even more drop-downs in temperature. Till date, -2ºC is the coldest and lowest air temperature in the United Arab Emirates has been recorded in Raknah back in 2021.

The Winter months in the United Arab Emirates officially started after December 21. According to most of the experts, in this winter season, the country has experienced a mild winter season considering the previous years.

People who love engaging themselves in outdoor and adventurous activities eagerly wait for the cold weather to begin. The residents enjoy the charm of the mountains of Jebel Jais covered with snow. As suggested by Fahad Mohamad Abdul Rehman, widely known as one of the most amazing storm chasers in the United Arab Emirates, the famous mountain range at Ras Al Khaimah is the topmost destination in UAE to enjoy an attractive winter time.

In his opinion, there might be a lot of famous tourist places all around the country but no doubt the best among all is Jebel Jais Mountains. Although the place is cold it is a positive, happy, and peaceful place to be visited according to him. The pearl-white snow covered the tips of the mountains during the months of the winter season. The winter snow covering the mountains makes this place more lively and welcoming.
