Abu Dhabi’s innovative school for coding invites every applicant to its ‘Piscine’ boot camp starting on February 5. The 25-day intense program employs a gamified, peer-to-peer learning approach. The successful participants will enter into the tuition-free school to learn more about coding.

Abu Dhabi’s coding school is offering 800 free slots for the students who would make it past the boot camp happening in February 2025. Talking about the bootcamp, the CEO of 42 Abu Dhabi Marcos Muller Habig said, “Over the past two years, we have witnessed hundreds of our students grow from aspiring coders to digital leaders who have successfully secured positions with key entities operating in vital fields across Abu Dhabi,”.

Students who are enrolling in 42 Abu Dhabi gain access to a strategic partner network comprising leading organisations like Mubadala Investment Company, Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, Department of Government Enablement, Microsoft, and Beacon Red. This partnership ecosystem extends many sponsorship opportunities and stipends to Emirati talents, emphasising support for UAE nationals joining 42 Abu Dhabi.

The program is intended to connect the students with the industry leaders, fostering a pathway to success in diverse sectors. Students who qualify would be acknowledged by the National Qualification Center (NQC) in the UAE upon completion of common core, additional modules and a six-month internship.

758 Students and Counting Applicants

Until now 42 Abu Dhabi has enrolled 758 students, with 213 being Emirati. At the beginning of this year, the school is excited to commence another Piscine. It is named after the French word for ‘swimming pool,’ the Piscine at 42 Abu Dhabi not only evaluates candidates’ computer programming skills but also gauges their determination, perseverance, and passion for coding. The applicants who are keen on participating in this transformative camp can explore 42 Abu Dhabi’s official website. 

They would engage themselves in a pre-selection ’Game,’ an online assessment to assess the capacity of the person through logic and memory tests. Further, applicants attend an in-person check-in discovery session to gain insights into the Piscine and the unique learning methodology employed. Applicants who successfully clear the Piscine open the gateway for candidates to enrol in 42 Abu Dhabi’s dynamic coding program. 

You do not require any previous coding experience or academic qualifications to apply for 42 Abu Dhabi, though every aspiring candidate must be aged 18 years old and above, and possess an innate ability to adapt and collaborate.

Is it Difficult to Secure a Spot?

This is open to every individual aged 18 and above, 42 Abu Dhabi welcomes applicants with a high school certificate, without any knowledge of coding or academic qualifications. This innovative opportunity extends to professionals from different industries seeking upskilling or re-skilling, emphasising diversity in backgrounds. With no upper age limit, the sole prerequisites are a high school certificate and a minimum age of 18 years old.
