The 51st edition of the Watch and Jewellery Show in Sharjah successfully commenced on Wednesday- 8th March’2023. The glorious Watch and Jewellery Middle East (WJME) Show plays a significant role in drawing thousands of the greatest and most recognizable organisations and brands in the creation and manufacture of watches, jewels, and gold items from over 21 countries. 

The remarkable exhibition, which was hosted by Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) , gathered over 400 participants from 20 distinct nations, prominent foreign and local brands, and dozens of Emirati enterprises. The commencement of the exhibition was honoured with the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. 

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) played a vital role in hosting the event. HE Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairperson of SCCI and ECS, stated that the WJME Exhibition has developed itself as one of the biggest gold and jewellery exhibits in the Middle East and North Africa ( MENA ) region and has become an international rendezvous for prominent enterprises and brands from every corner of the globe.

At the 51st edition of WJME, Mr. Al-Owais remarked, that the exhibition will be a remarkable one in which the occasion will continue to make accomplishments and offer a distinctive worldwide encounter. By initiating the UAE Jewellers and City Story platforms, which grants Emirati creators a critical marketing potential to demonstrate their manufacturing and innovative layout, gain knowledge from other respondents’ struggles through real-life problems, and learn significant knowledge to start their own trade, he emphasised that SCCI progresses to back meagre- and medium-sized business owners and budding Emirati geniuses who have a dedication for designing jewellery.

He showered light on the increase in the amount of involvement in the current year’s programme and its potential to captivate new global candidates that would ensure the accessibility of a huge span of ultra-modern artistic collection of executives and of its kind watch and jewellery. 

The biggest assembly of watches and jewellery in the UAE is about to stretch until March 12, 2023. This year’s exhibition attracts major organisations, and global brands from nations like Russia and  South Korea to participate for the first time. The exhibition also comprises state pavilions of provinces that are champions in watch and jewellery manufacturing. This distinctive exhibition lets you explore exciting surprises and recreational entertainment opportunities, including a prospect for guests to land expensive rewards, such as winning a kilogram of gold and everyday lottery prizes of jewellery and diamonds.
