For events like this, it will be more convenient if you book your tickets in advance and plan your time; so you can attend the shows and special attractions like shark and ray feeding etc. 

You will take around 30 to 50 minutes to take a tour of the world’s biggest aquarium alone. And if you are planning to attend special attractions and interactive sessions provided by the underwater zoo you might take 3- 4 hours. Kidzania 

If you are visiting Dubai Mall with your kids, then Kidzania is an attraction you should not miss out on. It is on level 2 of Dubai Mall, this attraction is popular among parents and kids. This attraction offers kids an opportunity to learn by having fun. Kidzania is a mini city where kids roleplay doing real-time jobs with realistic toys and activities. The estimated hours you might take at Kidzania is up to 3 – 4 hours if you are successful at dragging your kid out of there.

This attraction will be a fun-filled spot perfect to hang out with your friends and family. This largest virtual reality park has 30+ virtual experiences and other fun activities including classic arcade games. You can select your ticket package and book them in advance to save time.

Human Waterfalls

A unique experience to witness at Dubai Mall, is the human waterfalls. If the name intrigues you, it is where you can see divers dive all the way from the 4th floor. The surprising twist is that watching these divers will be like you are watching water Gods diving- because they are not real humans, they are human figures made from fibre glasses. You can witness this event if you are at the mall during the time frame of 10:AM to 12:AM.

Get Chills at Hysteria

Hysteria is the right place to stop by for some adrenaline rush. It is a scare house event. Remind you, it is not for faint-of-heart people, Dubai Mall never compromises on quality and experience, so the experience at Hysteria will be real as it can be. So get ready to travel to the Hysteria House with ghosts and creatures from your worst fear. It is located on the second floor of the Dubai Mall. 

Please pay attention to the timing of the event, if you are looking forward to attending. On Thursdays and Fridays the event will be held from 10:AM to 12:AM, on other weekdays it will be held from 10 AM to 11 PM

Your Podium for Fountain Show

The beauty of Dubai is not completed without mentioning the beautifully choreographed Fountain Show. This longest fountain is located on Burj Lake and if you happen to be at the Dubai Mall during the night hours hop into one of the restaurants that give a view of this fountain show and enjoy your food.

There will also be lots of varieties of candies and everything sweet and nice to try out at Candylicious. You can find the area on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall, timing from 10 am to 12 am.

Dubai mall is the paradise every shopaholic dreams of. Fashion Avenue is where you can stop by to purchase high-end brands. You can find here limited edition bags, shoes, clothes, designer pieces of jewellery etc. The fashion avenue is located on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall.

The destination cosmos is a limited edition programme that is held at the Dubai Mall. This event will give you an immersive digital experience and will take you through a glimpse of UAE’s hope for its future space endeavours. 

 To the Top of Burj Khalifa

Dubai mall is the gateway to the Burj Khalifa, there are elevators in Dubai Mall that will take you to the top of the Burj Khalifa. You will also have access to the observation deck, from where you can get an incredible view of Dubai city. This is always a busy spot crowded with visitors so book your tickets in advance to avoid long queues.

How to get to the Dubai Mall?

It won’t be any difficult to reach Dubai Mall, you can easily access Dubai Mall by both public and private transport. 

For those who opt for public transport. If you are travelling by metro you can take the Metro Red Line, the stop station is Burj Khalifa Dubai Mall. 

For the ones travelling on the bus, you can take bus 27 from Deira, Gold Souk Bus Station and  Bus 29 from the Al Fahidi Ghubaiba Bus Station. Travelling by bus will also give you an experience of sightseeing. 

You can always book a taxi, this will be a convenient option if you are travelling to Dubai for time. You can tell the driver where you going and they will deliver you to your location. Things to Keep in Mind 

United Arab Emirates follows a strict code of conduct, as guests, we are also requested to follow these rules to show respect to their country and culture.

It is requested that you dress appropriately when you are in public spheres. Wear dresses that will cover your shoulder and knees. Remind to keep a hold on your public display of affection, if you are a couple visiting Dubai try not to hold hands or kiss while you are at the mall. Be respectful of people’s cultures and traditions, many practices that are considered normal in your country can be offensive here. So do some research and learn some aspects of Dubai’s culture and ethos. And if you visit the mall during Ramzan season, food won’t be served in public but you can get it in enclosed restaurants that serve food during Ramzan.
