The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai (RTA) has announced all the premium services and unique offers to witness the glorious show on the special evening of New Year 2024, which will fall on Sunday, December 31. There are modes of marine transit such as Dubai Ferry, Dubai Water Taxi, and Abra.  The visitors can choose while taking a tour of the coastline of Dubai.

The trips by Dubai Ferry are likely to start between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm on New Year’s Eve and will continue operating the services up to 1:30 am on the following day. The journey with Abra Trip and Water Taxi will start operating between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm and will end the operations by 1:30 am on the following day. The journey by Water Taxi and Abra will begin from the Marina Mall station or Dubai Marina.

The fare of Abra is DH 150 for one person, and if someone wants to book the entire Water Taxi will cost DH 3,750. The fare is applicable for the one aged 2 years and above. The children under 2 years old can enjoy the ride for free. 

The Dubai Ferry trip will start the journey from Marina Mall Station or Dubai Marina, Ghubaiba Station, and Bluewaters Station. The fare will cost DH 350 for the Silver Class, and the Gold Class will cost DH 525. In addition, there will be a 50 percent discount for kids aged between 2 and 10, and free for infants aged under two. Abra journey will start from Al Jaddaf Station, and run between Al Fahidi Station and Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station, which will cost an adult DH 150 and free for kids under 2 years.

The Dubai Ferry, Water Taxi, Water Bus, and Abras have special attractions for the residents in Dubai, the visitors, and the tourists. All the special credit goes to the delightful view of the city’s Dubai coastline, which boosts the assembly of huge tourist attractions such as Nakheel Island, the World Islands, the Dubai Water Canal, other deluxe hotels, and heritage destinations. The premium services will be launched at the current moment during the ongoing event in the marine transit mode.

 

Dubai Ferry

  • Timing: The Dubai Rides start between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm on New Year’s Eve and continue running the operations up to 1:30 am on the following day.
  • Where: The trip will start at Marina Mall Station or Dubai Marina, Ghubaiba Station, or Bluewaters Station.
  • Fare: The fare will cost Dh350 for the Silver class; the Gold Class will cost Dh 525 additionally with a 50 percent discount for kids aged between 2 to 10. The trip will be free for infants who are younger than 2 years.

Abra

  • Timing: The Abra Trips will start between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm and end the journey at 1:30 am on the following day.
  • Where: The trip will begin at Al Jaddaf Station, Al Fahidi Station, or Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station
  • Fare: The trip will cost DH 150 for adults, and absolutely free for infants under 2 years.

Water Taxi

  • Timing: The trip will start between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm and end by 1:30 am of the following day.
  • Where: The trip will begin at the Marina Mall station or Dubai Marina.
  • Fare: A Water Taxi ride will cost Dh 3,750. Children under 2 years old can ride for free.
  • Water Taxi and Abra: Water Taxi trips will start between 10:00 pm and 10:30 pm and end at 1:30 am on the following day. The Water taxi and Abra ride will begin at the Marina Mall station (Dubai Marina). The Abra fare is going to cost around DH 150 for each person, and if anyone is looking forward to booking the entire Water Taxi, that will cost Dh3,750, additionally, Children under 2 years can ride for free.
